Refund policy
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. Please see the instructions on withdrawal below. Items purchased in a Sale / reduction are non-refundable and non-returnable.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. This will not affect your warranty rights.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
Instructions on withdrawal
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 30 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period will expire after 30 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods.
Electronic withdrawal button
You have the option to declare your withdrawal electronically via the “withdrawal button” provided in our online shop.
The electronic withdrawal follows a legally prescribed two-step procedure. After initiating the withdrawal via the withdrawal button (“Withdraw contract”), you will be asked to enter the information required for the withdrawal and then explicitly confirm the declaration (“Confirm withdrawal”).
After completing the process, you will receive confirmation of receipt of your withdrawal declaration on a durable medium.
Alternatively, to exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Sarah Winborn, folk berlin, Mittenwalder Str. 47, 10961 Berlin, Tel .: 017631471964, Email: sarah@folkberlin.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or e-mail). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you, upon receipt of the returned products and in any event not later than 14 days from the day in which the vormentioned returned items have been received by us. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
